11 weeks

This saturday I will be 12 weeks pregnant!! woot woot

and let me tell you it has been one heck of a ride.

I was totally wrong about what I thought pregnancty was like.

I thought that I would be kinda tired and that my stomach might be a bit uneasy.

 

WRONGO!!!!!!!

 I feel like I have mono and the morning sickness is intense my friends!!

I cant believe that a tiny person can totally change your body.

Now on to baby, at my ten week appointment. Everything looked good, another encouraging thing was that the nurse was able to find the heartbeat with the fetal monitor (sp?) this doesnt always happen at early on  because baby is so small ( so i am told) but I was sad that I did get to see him/her on an ultrasound.

I have started look at things for little one, things like a pack-n-play, carseat and highchair. I have some other things like blanket and a few outfits.

My Christmas list ( i know thath it early)

Last year for Christmas I did not start shopping early enough.

I was literally running around shopping the week of Christmas.

I also realized that I didnt save as much money for gifts as I would have hoped. 

( U of K things are stupid expensive)

So this year I have already spotted things that I would like to gift, mostly for Mr. Syx

The women in my family will be getting things from Estee lauder.

Sorry if I ruined the surprise haha

So because I work in retail were Christmas comes after 4th of July and I have Christmas on the brain I have been thinking of want i would like to get under the tree.

Just Being Honest

SOO again I cant find the cord that plugs my phone into the computer to upload pictures. FAIL.

I am quickly feeling like this blog is turning into how I am dealing with a miscarriage.

Lately I have not had the feeling to slap most pregnant women. i kid. but I have been feeling that my anger is slowing fading. Its been 64 days since I began to miscarry, and I honestly felt that I might never get over this.

Now because it has been almost eight weeks and my Doctor says that it is safe if Mr. Syx and I wanted to try to get pregnant we could start trying to get pregnant. Now this is the hard part because we didnt try to get pregnant. So now do we try to make a little one, try to prevent kids for a year or two (that WAS the plan) or not try to make nor prevent little ones and see what happens.

Only the Lord knows what is in store for Jes and I.

It has going to be an interesting ride!!

My baking issues..

Soooo.....

The other night I thought I would make some cookies..

after twenty minutes of prep...

my peaunt butter cookies were in the oven 

and Jesse and I were minutes from fresh cookies..

we thought..

After five minutes in the oven I turn the light on to look at the cookies

what i found was that all my batter had run together and had

now started bubbling almost like I was making

hard candy! So I called Mom I learned that completely melting your butter is not a good thing. haha

So i try again the next night.. and the same thing happens again.

After having Mom look at it. She think that the recipe itself is wrong.

This Newlywed was not a happy girl...

SO all that to say that I am trying my hand at a new recipe tomorrow

Chicken n' vegetable biscuit bake and cream cheese pound cake...

Baby Feva!!!

 Today I woke up with baby fever!!! Hard core my friends!!  Most days its not this intense. Once or twice a week I would read a mommy blog  or check out  The Bump.com which is a website for everything baby

However...

 Today I woke up and started watching "A Baby Story"....

( I should have just watched the Kardashians ;) )

I  found myself  wanting to know everything about being a parent.

 Natural Births, Cloth Diapers, signing to your child to expand their vocabulary.

and so on and so on.

Woof.

I hope that tomorrow is not as crazy!!

Talk about a long day!!!

Today my Boss's Boss came to my store today.

She talked to me for maybe twenty minutes.

I didnt see my Boss again for the rest of the day,

Sadly I have no idea how it went. So that is kinda makin me nervous.

On the homefront I must have my carpets cleaned!

So what is the best way to go about that with out paying and arm and a leg.

Because I can really only afford about three fingers.

Any info would be amazing!!

I the last twenty four hours lasted a week. WOOF. Sara Bareilles is playing and I feel like writing.

So here we go

 Last night I found out that a couple that Jesse and I are very close to are....pregnant. I was at work when I learned this news. When I got home I asked Jesse how he found out. After he told me i wanted to say " I dont understand". All I could get out was "I", then I broke down. I have never cried like that in front of him like that before. He listened quietly as I told him everything that I was feeling.

  We spent the rest of the night talking about my being pregnant and miscarrying, which we had not really talked about in depth before.

I am learning that in life NOTHING turns out like we plan.

 The first seven month of our marriage went like so.

1. I lose my job (its a long story)

2. Jesse loses his job (one month later)

3. I get a new job

4. We get pregnant

5. We miscarry

Those are just the highlights.

That is not the life that we planned on having.

So how on earth should we plan our lives now.

I have nothing cute to put here.... that bugs me but whatev!

It is amazing to me how quickly emotions can change. Today we were visiting with family having a good time and I was in a good mood. Then its was time for the baby to wake from it's nap. Please know that I  LOVE this child, so much so that its not normal. However as soon as momma comes in the room with baby, I feel like I can't breathe and my heart starts racing!! My emotions did a complete 180!! I tried to stay in the room. That was an EPIC fail. bummer. I completely lose it, flip my sunglasses on to my face and high tale it to the bathroom so that no one can see my meltdown. After a few minutes I come out, Jesse knows what is going on and quickly gets me out of the house. It honestly shocked me how quickly I became unglued. How long is this going to last? WOOF. I have to go back to work tomorrow, I dont see this going well.
     On another note we are working on fixing up our extra bedroom. We have tons of sports things and we need a cool way of showing it off!!
     Til my next breakdown....:)

A Change of Plans

 Earlier in the week I had posted that I would be sharing some fun news with all of you. However, we have a change of plans.... So here is the story. I am sharing it here because honestly only family read this blog. haha. Anyway, back to the story.
      In May Jesse and I learned that we were having a baby. We were very excited and jumped in to learning everything about pregnancy and parenting. Then a few days ago I began to lose the pregnancy. I wont go into detail. It has been a very long few days with lots of tears. Woof is all I can really say. ok so that was not a really long story.
      I will be posting more! I promise, because i found my cord  to my camera so I can unload pictures.

Hello World!!!
Many things have changed since I last posted, the biggest thing is.... I got a new job!!!

I now work for Estee Lauder!!!!!

I have been with them for about syx weeks I would say and I am really enjoy it.

I work more hours than I ever remember work before, Jesse has been so helpful

around the house. OK so he basically cleans the house because my first few weeks back at work I was worthless when I got home!!!

In other news...the last fews weeks things have been very hard for Jesse and I but God has been so faithful to us. Providing in very way. Its not the way that we thought our first year of marriage would go. But we are finding fun and joy in our everyday lives.

I am hoping that I will be posting more soon!!!

A Winter's Night Dinner

Hello all.
Its been sometime since I have posted something.. not that there are tons of people reading! haha however I have now now learned how to get pictures off my phone and on to my computer!! Go Me!!

Anywho....

To say that my husband is a 'fan' of Ohio State is a massive understatement...

Yesterday was the Sugar Bowl which in a last second play we WON!!!

Thank goodness or it would not have been a good night!!

We watched the Game at our friend Bobby's house so this was the drink that I took with me!
